Passionate about deep connection, I approach your session with an eye for detail and an excitement for capturing the soul of your relationship with timeless imagery.
As a young mother my Mom would go visit a few neighbors on occasion. Check in on them, see how they were doing. When she did my Grandpa Z would take my twin brother and I on the feed truck to "help" him with chores.
The hum of the engine and sound of the mooing cows and cheerful birds would put my brother and I to sleep in a jiffy!
My blue eyes, straight brown hair, the soft curvature of my face my Grandpa Z prayed I would have as he would kneel on his knees and ask God to give my mother a daughter just like her.
I was eighteen months old when he passed, I don't remember him taking me on the feed truck driving around the farm. However, I see him everyday. I know his strength through my Dad. His voice through my Grandma. His faith through my resemblance to my Mom. His face through pictures.
When I'm not doing photography, you can find me on a lake, feeling the force of wind greet me wake boarding, trying to become an avid reader, or dancing in sky tears when rain visits Utah.
I love snail mail- maybe it's the slower pace of the sentiment, or the thoughtful time required to write a card, but putting a stamp and envelope in the mailbox is my favorite!
